Meet Our Trainers
Having been in the fitness world for over 20 years’ and holding multiple certifications, Justin has acquired a wealth of knowledge through practical application. Once he graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in nursing he served 6 years in the US Navy nurse corps. He found the love and passion for helping people led him to prevention of health issues, and strength and conditioning as a form of prevention. He ventured into the world of personal training and nutrition and quickly discovered his passion and affinity for the field. Justin is currently pursuing his PHD in physiology and is the Personal Training Manager and nutritionist at Fit Family Fitness.
Gary holds his CPT through NASM which is a nationally recognized certification, and considered one of the top certifications available. He has competed in powerlifting and body building since the age of 13, and has a deep passion for the sport. Gary’s background in track and field, 5K & 10K runs, cross country, baseball, football, soccer and golf make him an excellent trainer for athletes of all ages. He finds great joy and personal satisfaction from training anyone willing to learn life style changes and personal achievement. If you were to ask Gary what’s his greatness joy in life he would say “next to his children, watching a life be changed”.
Nicole Van Meter
Nicole holds her CPT through NASM a nationally recognized certification, and one of the top rated certificates available. She grew up in Midland playing competitive sport throughout her teen age years, and has had a great deal of success. Nicole has competed in fitness competitions and been in the fitness industry for over 10 years’. She is now following her passion and love for helping others, by helping them, transform their bodies and motivating and guiding them in their new and exciting way of life.
Chris was born and raised in the Permian Basin and studied fitness & wellness at Texas Tech University. He has over 20 years’ experience in strength training, powerlifting, and body building. He has trained clients of all ages with a great deal of success and would like to put his experience to work for you or your high school athlete.
Michelle has a Personal Training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM) and is certified in Piloxing and in Outdoor/Indoor Boot Camps. She also has training and continuing education in Pilates and Injury Prevention. Michelle has over 12 years of experience and has enjoyed helping her clients reach their goals and learn to live a healthier happier life. She strongly believes in being the type of Personal Trainer each individual needs to succeed.
Nathan holds a Personal Training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He has over 6 years of experience and is currently pursuing an Athletic Training degree and is in the student athletic training program at UTPB. Nathan also has continuing education that includes corrective exercise specialization along with performance enhancement specialization. He enjoys being able to help his clients reach their goals, regardless of challenges they face.
